The current owners of The Maltby Cafe, Tana Baumler, Barbara Peter and Sandra Albright, met in 1980s when they all joined the same soccer team. After practices and games, they would often visit The Maltby Cafe for breakfast and lunch. On one of those visits, they saw it was for sale, decided to buy it, and became the owners in 1988. Tana, Barbara, and Sandra have continued The Maltby Cafe’s tradition of country flavor, huge portions, and high-quality ingredients.
