The Mule Tavern

In 2016, long-time bartender Sam Halhuli created The Mule Tavern, a neighborhood craft dive bar in Tacoma. He had been working toward opening his own bar for more than 10 years with the goal of building his dream bar. The Mule Tavern is a safe space for people of all backgrounds where you can order both a Bud Light or a well-crafted cocktail. The bar gets its name from its signature cocktail, the Moscow Mule, made with fresh house-made ginger beer.
