When Liza Danger and Trevor Marsh first opened Octopus Bar in 2014, it quickly became a neighborhood favorite for its twists on classic cocktails, collection of curiosities, and Liza and Trevor’s unbeatable hospitality. When they re-opened the bar several doors down in 2021, it was everything their customers already loved — just bigger.

Liza and Trevor’s new space is home to outdoor patios, cozy booths, a dance floor, a stage, and The Salty Shack kitchen, which serves fresh sandwiches, Seattle dogs, fried munchies — ahoy, chili fry chum bucket! — and more. The bar’s decoration of hidden treasures is a love letter to the sea  and a celebration of Seattle’s maritime history.
