The Spa House by QueenCare

The Spa House is a sister business to Monika Mathew’s QueenCare, a beauty and skincare products store. Located in Seattle’s Columbia City neighborhood, The Spa House focuses on bodywork wellness like Swedish and prenatal massage, and lymphatic drainage. They use QueenCare skincare products and offer them for sale as well. 

For owner Monika Mathews, opening The Spa House goes beyond celebrating a second business. It signifies resilience and redemption, as The Spa House was once home to QueenCare’s first retail location, which closed during the pandemic. 

While QueenCare stayed afloat with its second location in the Central District, Monika was able to rebuild and create her new concept, and celebrated her grand (re)opening in Columbia City in December 2023.
