Ever wanted to catch a Thorns or WNBA game but couldn’t find somewhere actually playing it? Jenny Nguyen was all too familiar with this conundrum — so she found a solution. Enter: The Sports Bra, a sports bar that exclusively shows women’s sports and aims to empower girls and women on and off the field.
Nguyen’s bar has a mission to make great food — hello, wings and nachos — and drinks while fostering a safe, welcoming space to rally around women in sports. If it’s on TV, the bar will be showing it.
Pro tip: The Sports Bra is kid-friendly. Because all kids should be able to see equity in sports and in life.
