The Sudra offers vegan Indian comfort food classics with a Southwestern twist. Chef-owner Sanjay Chandrasekaran grew up in New Mexico, hence the restaurant’s creative flavor combinations and tequila-based cocktails. Sanjay opened the restaurant’s first location 2014 and, thanks to its immediate popularity, soon expanded to add two more storefronts. Vegans and non-vegans alike are quick to sing the praises of Sanjay’s flavorful spicy vindaloo, potato samosas, and lentil chaat. 

Save room for dessert! You won’t want to miss out on unique offerings like their pakora battered banana split or their apple-carrot payasam with a scoop of vanilla-ginger ice cream.
