Tirto Furniture

The opportunity to bring his family’s craftsman furniture to the States was one that Chris Tirtoprodjo and his wife Claire couldn’t pass up. So together, the two opened Tirto Furniture, an Indonesian teak furniture shop that boasts beautiful tables, cabinets, custom furniture, and more. Inspired by centuries old Indonesian design, the family-owned workshop makes their small-batch furniture using reclaimed wood.

Fun fact: The employees at Chris’s family’s workshop pays above market wages, provides health benefits, and will often assist with the education of children.
