Toast Mi is a bright spot offering grab-and-go bánh mì and rice bowls. Long-time friends Nikki Nguyen and Liam Nguyen opened the restaurant in July 2020 with the goal of providing quick-service versions of their families’ recipes without sacrificing health or flavor. Nikki describes their food as made with love, a way of giving back to the vibrant Tacoma community that supports and uplifts her.
In addition to their sandwiches, Toast Mi sells creative boba tea flavors like strawberry cheesecake and coconut coffee. Their sandwiches are customizable, with plenty of meat-free options for plant-based eaters. Stop by for a fresh and colorful taste of Vietnam– you won’t be disappointed!
