If you’ve ever wanted to learn Taekwondo, learning from an Olympic Gold Medalist might be a good place to start. Velocity Taekwondo Center is owned by American Olympic Medalist Danielle Pelham, who is also the Head Instructor.
Danielle started Taekwondo when she was just 11 years old, inspired by action cartoons like Ninja Turtles and wanting to learn combat sports. Her dedication paid off, making the Olympic National Teams for both the USA and Ghana from 2000-2009, and reached World Champion in 2009. Other members of Velocity Taekwondo Center’s staff are former or current competitors as well. Classes range from youth to adult, and from beginner to competitive training. They also offer after-school and summer camp programs for kids.
