Ready to cultivate a cozy, community-oriented space in the Ballard neighborhood, Maria Beck designed Venture Coffee Co. to combine her love of the Pacific Northwest and Danish Hygge. The result? Well it looks something like a Northwestern ski lodge, fires burning and coffee steaming from mugs. The unique cafe opened in 2019. Order a breakfast sandwich and your espresso drink of choice and kick back with a good book or a friend.
