The team behind Voi Cà Phê wants the world to understand how special Vietnamese coffee is. The café showcases specialty coffees grown and roasted in Vietnam. Their community partners keep sustainability at top of mind and include farms focused on practicing safer permaculture. The Georgetown-based café gives back to the earth, too, through the 1% for the Planet, an org tackling pressing environmental issues, and Animals Asia, a group working to re-wild elephants (the business’ namesake) in Vietnam’s central highlands.

Voi Cà Phê’s menu features an array of drinks made using traditional phin filters, which are central to the iconic cà phê sữa đá (Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk), as well as classic espresso drinks. Don’t miss their phở-spiced latte, which is made with the iconic soup’s key ingredients: cinnamon, star anise, and cardamom.
