Lisa Warr-King Parker founded Warr-King Wines in 2013 with one goal: to highlight and embrace the distinct taste of Washington wine. After 20 years in the tech marketing world, Lisa was ready to move on, and she fell in love with winemaking after taking classes at Lake Washington Tech and experiencing a harvest through her internship at Patterson Cellars. From there, she went on to get her certification in Enology from Washington State University, learned the tricks of the trade from John Patterson at Patterson Cellars, and even spent a harvest at Chateau Ste. Michelle.
