Jun Hong opened the doors to Wasabi Sushi & Izakaya in 2000, two weeks after his first son was born. On the first day his restaurant opened he came up with the motto ““I make sushi (raw fish) for every guest same minded as I make sushi for my newly born son,” and he has lived up to that ever since. Wasabi has an extensive array of delicious and beautiful izakaya, sushi, and sushi rolls using traditional Japanese ingredients presented in a contemporary style.
