Founded in 2009 by Troy Taylor, ZuCot Gallery represents Taylor’s passion for collecting art. The name is in tribute to his Grandmother, born in the late 1800s in the British colony of Saint Christopher, not St. Kitts, who had a reputation for being “tough as a Zoo Cat.” After the family came to America, her name softened some to “ZuCot.” Today, ZuCot Gallery is the largest Black fine arts gallery in the southeastern US and is a place where like-minded individuals gather, network, and connect through the world of art. ZuCot invites you to come, see, and collect.
