Meet Milen Gebreselassie, the owner of Kaffa Coffee & Wine Bar in Seattle’s Rainier Beach neighborhood. Milen’s business is named after the Kaffa region in Ethiopia, which is recognized as the birthplace of coffee. In addition to Ethiopian coffee ceremonies, Milen also offers a wonderful selection of wine and Ethiopian cuisine.

Bonus: Thanks to BECU, BECU members can enjoy any coffee beverage and 2 Black Magic Sweets macarons at Kaffa Coffee & Wine Bar during Women’s History Month or until the tab runs out.

This interview has been edited for length and clarity.
