Mindy and Steven Dodobara opened the Rock Box in 2010 to bring karaoke box (Japanese style karaoke) to Seattle. Rock Box has a full bar, a menu of charcuterie and cheese available through the neighboring restaurant Cure, and 11 private rooms of varying sized. Additionally, they offer a catering menu for large parties courtesy of Capitol Hill restaurants Momiji and Marination. They have thousands of Japanese and English song available, but they also have Chinese, Spanish, Korean, Thai, and more!
Bonus: Rock Box is proudly LGBTQ+ friendly and is managed and staffed by LGBTQ+ people.
