Since its opening in 1991, Cafe Flora has been a pioneering vegetarian restaurant at the forefront of Seattle’s local, organic, and sustainable food movements. Business and life partners Katy Knauff and Marceil Van Camp founded the restaurant in 2022 with the belief that life is a little better when we embrace a little more – that’s why they always leave room at their table for one more. 4. Byen Bakeri (Queen Anne) – If you’re craving a lovely Cardamom Braid, Hot Cross Buns, or flødeboller peeps, Byen Bakeri is your place with a special menu for Easter/Passover. The neighborhood bakery has been open since 2013 but has been under the ownership of Rachel Antalek and Larry Walsh since 2018. Byen Bakeri means “Town Bakery” in Norwegian, and it evokes the feeling of Scandinavia’s delightful, cozy family-owned bakeries.

Macadons (Renton, WA) – Originally founded in 2015 by Michael Huynh and Donna Chan, Macadons features a rainbow selection of macarons, from traditional flavors like vanilla and chocolate to the Asian flavors that originally put Macadons on the map, like Thai tea and ube.
